Application Support Engineer

We are seeking an Application Support Engineer who will provide 24/7 support for critical applications and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve infrastructure and security. Responsibilities Participate in a rotating on‐call schedule to deliver 24/7 support for critical applications, including early morning and late evening shifts. Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement timely remediation. Document operational runbooks, incident logs, and security procedures for both technical and non‐technical stakeholders. Collaborate with development, product, and infrastructure teams to plan and execute vulnerability remediation and operational enhancements. Qualifications 6 years of experience as a Support Engineer. Proven expertise in Windows environment administration, including vulnerability remediation, patch management, and security hardening of infrastructure systems. Solid understanding of infrastructure security principles and ability to assess and prioritize vulnerabilities. Track record of contributing to technical projects, including system upgrades, feature rollouts, and infrastructure improvements. Strong documentation skills with the ability to maintain clear runbooks and incident records. Fluency in English (B2 level). Availability for a hybrid model based in Porto, Portugal.
