Role: Application Security Engineer

Location: Hybrid, Porto, Portugal

Required skills:

• Professional experience in Application Security, DevSecOps or Cybersecurity
• Strong knowledge of application vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10 / API Top 10) and Secure SDLC
• Hands-on experience in vulnerability analysis, tracking, and remediation across the lifecycle
• Experience working with SAST, DAST, SCA tools and interpreting pentest results
• Experience performing secure code reviews and threat modelling
• Knowledge of cloud security in AWS and/or Azure environments
• Experience with modern architectures (APIs, microservices)
• Experience integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with tracking tools such as JIRA
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously in regulated and dynamic environments
• Good communication skills to collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
