The Construction & Development HSE Manager will oversee and implement health, safety, and environmental standards within renewable energy projects. This role requires expertise in compliance and risk management to ensure safe operations and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Description
- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures for renewable energy construction projects.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics and trends.
- Provide training and guidance on health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate HSE practices into daily operations.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and manage inspections.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement in HSE performance.
Profile
- Proven experience in HSE management within the energy or construction sectors, preferably in renewables.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence and guide teams.
- Certification in HSE or related fields (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
