Dutch-Speaking Customer Support Specialist – 100% Remote (Work From Home in Portugal)
Are you fluent in Dutch and looking for the flexibility of a fully remote role? We are seeking detail-oriented, empathetic, and communicative professionals to join our international customer service team as a Remote Customer Support Specialist .
In this role, you will serve as the main point of contact for Dutch-speaking customers across various sectors (such as e-commerce, fintech, or travel), delivering top-tier assistance and resolving inquiries via phone, chat, and email from the comfort of your home anywhere in Portugal.
The Role
- Customer Assistance: Handle inbound customer inquiries in Dutch via phone, email, and live chat with a friendly, professional, and solution-oriented approach.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot order issues, account management requests, billing questions, or service interruptions using internal CRM systems.
- Customer Retention: Turn challenging situations into positive experiences by offering clear explanations, alternative options, and active listening.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all customer interactions and ticketing outcomes in internal databases.
Working Model & Location
- Location: 100% Remote / Work From Home (Must reside anywhere in Portugal: mainland or islands).
- Work Model: Full-time (40 hours/week) with flexible or rotational shift patterns.
- Relocation: No relocation package provided. Candidates must already reside in Portugal or hold full legal authorization to work locally.

Requirements
- Language Skills: Native or Near-Native proficiency in Dutch (C1/C2) with good working knowledge of English (B2) .
- Legal Status: Must hold an EU/EEA Passport or a valid Portuguese Work/Residence Permit (with active NIF and NISS).
- Technical Workspace: Quiet, private home office setup with high-speed internet (direct Ethernet connection required).
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, strong active listening, patience, and adaptability to new software systems.
- Experience: Previous customer service, call center, or hospitality experience is an advantage, but full paid training is provided.
