About the role

CloserHire is partnering with a leading international technology services provider to recruit Technical Support Specialists for an exciting multilingual IT support project based in Lisbon, Portugal. You’ll join an international technical team providing first-line support to business users, troubleshooting network and infrastructure issues, and ensuring high service quality across multiple technologies.

What you will do

• Provide first-line technical support to business customers via phone, email, and ticketing systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues
• Log, manage, and prioritize incidents while ensuring agreed service levels are met
• Escalate complex issues to specialized support teams when required
• Perform remote troubleshooting and assist users through screen sharing and remote access tools
• Monitor, update, and follow up on support cases until resolution
• Document incidents accurately and maintain customer records within internal systems
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions
• Deliver a professional customer experience while maintaining high technical standards

What we are looking for

• Native or fluent level of German English proficiency at C1 level
• CompTIA+ certification (or equivalent) or Cisco CCNA certification/training
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, and general IT infrastructure
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with ticketing systems or remote technical support is an advantage
• Strong willingness to learn and develop within the IT field
