How It Works
Based in Portugal, you source, interview, and onboard candidates locally, ensuring they are well-prepared for the move. FlexHero then arranges relocation and supports them in the Netherlands.
Together, we make working abroad a smooth and successful experience.

The Opportunity
This is not a role where you inherit a desk and a script. We are launching our Portuguese market and you will help shape it from day one — the sourcing channels, the intake process, the candidate experience, the local brand. You work autonomously from Portugal, in close collaboration with our Dutch headquarters.

What You’ll Do
• Actively source Portuguese candidates via LinkedIn, local job boards, referrals, and creative channels
• Conduct intake interviews locally in Portugal — in person or online — to assess skills, motivation, and suitability for work abroad
• Guide candidates honestly through what working and living in the Netherlands really looks like: salary, housing, taxes, daily life
• Prepare and onboard candidates in Portugal so they arrive in the Netherlands fully informed and ready to start
• Match candidates to vacancies at renowned Dutch employers in industry, manufacturing, and logistics
• Coordinate the handover with our Dutch team to ensure a smooth flight, arrival, and first working day
• Build and maintain a strong, sustainable talent pipeline across Portugal
• Act as the trusted local face of FlexHero for Portuguese talent

What You Bring
• 2+ years of experience in recruitment, staffing, or a related field
• Solid knowledge of the Portuguese labour market and candidate behaviour
• Proven sourcing skills on LinkedIn and local job boards
• A self-starter mindset — you thrive with autonomy and clear targets
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills; honest and empathetic with candidates making a big life step
• Fluent Portuguese and professional English (Dutch is a plus, not a requirement)
• Affinity with HR, payroll, or international staffing is a bonus
