React Frontend Engineer 80-100% (f/m/d)

PROFIDATA offers software solutions for investment and wealth management through its subsidiaries in major European financial centers. This offering is complemented by a rapidly growing, broad range of services in the areas of software as a service, consulting, implementation, training and support. XLab is Profidata’s innovation center based in Zürich, Switzerland, and Porto Salvo, Portugal. With a small and passionate team, we are developing new cloud native productivity tools that are good looking as well as fun and easy to use.

We are looking for a product focused Frontend Engineer to build and improve Profidata’s financial web applications as a

React Frontend Engineer 80-100% (f/m/d)

About the role

You will work closely with designers and product managers to create experiences that are intentional, consistent, and performant. You'll join a product team and own your work from first idea to launch. You will take responsibility for the frontend implementation and the quality of every detail.

What you’ll do

• Work with your team to collaborate and execute on the product goals and technical roadmap.

• Build product-focused features in our React frontend, based on shared UI components from our XLab team.

• Build interfaces that are easy to use, fast, and ready to grow.

• Develop product expertise and use it to shape what we build.

• Read, write, and review application code, with a focus on writing maintainable code that is easy to understand.

• Document and test the systems you help build.

What We’re Looking For (must-have)

• 3+ years experience with software development in React, TypeScript, and frontend development

• Knowledge of testing principles

• Knowledge of CSS and familiarity with CSS-in-JS/Tailwind

• Strong product sense and attention to detail: you care how things look and feel

Nice to have

• You’ve worked on a large and complex TypeScript project

• Good architectural understanding of scalable frontend systems

• Experience integrating with backend APIs and working with real-time or dynamic data

• Experience in designing REST APIs

• Experience with NodeJS

• Experience in finance
