Senior Indirect Procurement Specialist

Senior Indirect Procurement Specialist role at Amgen's Lisbon capability center focused on sourcing indirect category projects and statements of work across the ELMAC region. The position involves developing sourcing strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
Responsibilities
- Source indirect category projects and statements of work across ELMAC region aligned with procurement policies
- Understand business requirements and identify effective suppliers and solutions
- Identify and capture value opportunities through negotiation and competitive bidding processes
- Deliver sourcing and negotiations for Commercial and General indirect spend categories
- Ensure Amgen procurement policies compliance and supplier contract management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years sourcing or procurement experience
- Strong knowledge of sourcing processes including tendering, supplier negotiations, and contracting
- Proficiency in English (written and oral)
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills with effective communication abilities
- Experience with e-procurement tools such as Scout and Ariba preferred
- Knowledge of additional languages such as Italian or German a plus
Compensation: €31,855.45–€43,098.55 annual
