Job Description

• Develop, test, and deploy PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages to support application requirements.
• Design and optimize database schemas, ensuring efficient data modeling and adherence to normalization principles.
• Analyze and optimize SQL queries and database performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing tuning strategies.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following established coding standards and best practices.
• Maintain version control of database scripts and documentation using appropriate tools.
• Support production environments by responding to incidents and implementing emergency fixes when necessary
  
  

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or similar.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL programming with demonstrated experience developing complex stored procedures and functions.
• Strong SQL expertise, including query writing, optimization, and performance analysis.
• Solid understanding of relational database design principles and data modeling techniques.
• Experience with Oracle Database or similar enterprise database management systems.
• Knowledge of transaction management, locking mechanisms, and concurrency control.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
