General Ledger & Reporting Accountant

Eurofins seeks a General Ledger & Reporting Accountant for its Shared Services Center in Braga. The hybrid, full-time role involves managing month-end close processes, fixed assets, reconciliations, and financial reporting while supporting process improvements across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Execute general ledger activities and contribute to month-end close and financial reporting
- Manage fixed assets processes including additions, disposals, and depreciation calculations
- Perform intercompany and Balance Sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Prepare corporate reporting packages and upload data into reporting tools
- Support VAT, tax reporting, and audit compliance activities
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 2+ years Record-to-Report accounting experience
- Proficiency with IFRS/GAAP accounting principles
- ERP systems and reporting tools experience (e.g., Cognos)
- Advanced Excel skills
- English language fluency (B2 or higher)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
