Expert Business Analyst - Front and Middle Office Trading Systems

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leader in the financial services industry, specializing in advanced trading systems and risk management solutions. You will contribute to optimizing workflows, enhancing system functionalities, and supporting strategic process improvements within the Trading and Operations domains. This role offers an exciting path to influence cutting-edge platform developments and expand your expertise in a dynamic environment.
Your main responsibilities:
- Analyze and map front and middle office workflows, including P&L, OTC trades, credits, IR swaps, CDS, bonds, repos, MM, FX, and Options.
- Design and implement testing protocols for business processes related to booking new products, valuation, platform integration, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize platform performance and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop detailed documentation to support system enhancements and operational procedures.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, influence strategies, and support process improvements.
- Utilize SQL to analyze data, automate tasks, and improve reporting accuracy.
- Support platform testing activities, identifying issues, and collaborating on solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging financial products to advise on best practices.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- 8+ years of experience in business analysis within front and middle office trading environments.
- Deep knowledge of financial products: credit derivatives, interest rate derivatives, cash, FX, and options.
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Experience testing and mapping complex business processes.
- Knowledge of Summit Front Office (a strong plus).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English (C1 level); Portuguese B2 level is a plus.
- Ability to work legally within Europe.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with Summit Front Office.
- Certification or additional training in financial analysis or project management.
- French language skills at B2 level.
