Role Overview:

We are looking for a Solutions Architect to join a global technology and software development hub specializing in financial services, delivering innovative solutions to support banking operations and digital transformation initiatives.

What you will do:

You will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable, secure, and compliant architecture solutions that align with the organization's business strategy and Santander’s technology standards. You will act as a technical leader, collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess requirements, define solution roadmaps, and ensure cloud-first, security-driven implementations. You will support governance, optimize IT processes, and help shape enterprise-wide technology decisions. Your role includes performing security assessments, aligning designs with architectural patterns, and supporting innovation across platforms.

What you are like:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field;
• 10+ years of experience in IT with strong multidisciplinary knowledge across infrastructure, networking, databases, software development, and security;
• Proven expertise in cloud computing platforms;
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and OpenShift;
• Strong understanding of software design principles, architecture diagramming (e.g., C4 model), and tools like Visio and PowerPoint;
• Solid knowledge of integration technologies including APIs, web services, messaging queues, and ETLs;
• Experience with IT security frameworks, particularly NIST Cybersecurity, and Agile methodologies;
• Strong communication, time management, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently in ambiguous or fast-paced environments.
