Business Analyst - FX Trading

Profile description:

- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within financial markets, specifically in FX or electronic trading environments;
- Strong understanding of FX products, market structure, and electronic trading workflows (order execution, pricing, liquidity, aggregators, single-dealer platforms);
- Experience working closely with Front Office stakeholders (traders and sales) to gather enhancement requests and translate business needs into clear functional specifications;
- Ability to act as a bridge between business users and development teams within fast-paced trading environments;
- Solid knowledge of financial market participants and trading lifecycle processes;
- Strong technical skills, including hands-on experience with SQL and Unix (log analysis, querying databases, troubleshooting production issues);
- Comfortable investigating functional and technical incidents in collaboration with developers;
- Basic scripting capabilities (e.g., Python) are considered a strong asset;
- Ability to work autonomously and lead topics independently from analysis through delivery;
- Experience working in Agile environments with a pragmatic and delivery-oriented mindset;
- Fluency in English (mandatory).

Mandatory requirement: Living in Portugal or holding legal authorization to reside in Portugal.
