About the role

CloserHire is partnering with a global leader in customer experience and technology solutions to recruit a Dutch-speaking Customer Service Representative for an insurance-related project in Lisbon, Portugal. In this role, you’ll support clients in managing their insurance policies, handling inquiries, claims, and policy changes while ensuring a smooth and professional customer experience. What you will do

• Handle incoming calls and chats from customers with inquiries about their insurance policies
• Process service requests in the client’s policy administration system
• Compose and send responses to emails and letters, including contract documents and policy information
• Conduct indexation and electronic archiving using internal document management tools
• Manage requests for policy changes, including updating payment methods
• Support customers with claims submissions and policy cancellations
• Maintain a high level of service quality and meet client-specific performance targets

What we are looking for

• Native-level fluency in Dutch (C2) and proficient in English (B2)
• Previous experience in customer service is considered an advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional, diplomatic, and solution-oriented approach to handling customer queries
• Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment
• Proactive and motivated to maintain a high standard of performance
• Eligible to work in Portugal

Salary

1374€ base (gross) · 100EUR performance bonus monthly plus Lunch allowance of 7.23EUR / day

Relocation support

Accomodation for candidates outside of Portugal - Room in company apartment for 12 months for a fixed cost of 280EUR, deducted from salary. Inside Portugal - only available if candidates are coming directly from a competitor. Reimbursement of flight ticket on the 6th month of work, up to 400EUR.
