Our client is a multinational company working in the Fund Management industry.

• Our client is a multinational company with an expanding hub in Porto.
• We are looking for a Junior Risk Officer to join this new project.

Description

• Risk Framework Support: Help maintain the Group's risk registers and assist in risk assessments, ensuring everyday risk activities are aligned with company objectives;
• Vendor Risk: Support the management of third-party vendor risks by helping with due diligence checks, tracking vendor compliance, and keeping records updated;
• Audit Collaboration: Assist in coordinating with internal business units and external audit partners. Help gather information and follow up on audit recommendations, ensuring actions are tracked and completed;
• Risk Reporting: Contribute to preparing clear, insightful risk updates and presentations for the team, highlighting operational and vendor risks;
• Compliance & Improvement: Work closely with Compliance, Legal, and Technology to ensure risk processes comply with policies and regulations. Suggest improvements where you see opportunities;
• Cross-Team Integration: Collaborate with colleagues across Finance , Operations, Information Security - to help embed risk awareness and controls into their daily work.

Profile

• Graduate in Finance/Mathematics/Economics or similar qualification;
• +2 years of experience in similar positions;
• Fluent in English, other language can be considered as an advantage;
• Knowledge of investment fund regulatory framework would be considered as an asset;
• Ability to effectively communicate with all teams and all levels of the organization;
• Strong organizational and computer skills;
• Being team player with an ability to work independently.
