No Offer Description Applications are now open for the recruitment of one Junior Technician – master's degree holder (Reference BIOPOLIS 2026-37) under an 8-month fixed-term contract, within the project 2024.18040.PEX-MAYOMBIOAPES– "Preserving the Primates of Mayombe". A study of primate biodiversity in a tropical forest using autonomous recordings and artificial intelligence", funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), for the analysis of primate acoustic data and support in fieldwork. Applicants must hold a master's degree in Ethology, or a related scientific field. Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in behavioral research, namely behavioral data collection and analysis. Academic degrees awarded by foreign higher education institutions must be recognized by a competent Portuguese institution, under the terms of Decree-Law No. 66/2018 of 16 August, and this requirement must be fulfilled by the date of the grant contract.
