What are we looking for? Strong experience in backend development using Java, Micronaut and Gradle; Solid experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs; Experience with Kafka and event‐driven architectures; Knowledge of API Design & Integration, including OpenAPI and AsyncAPI specifications; Experience integrating systems with Shopify and understanding Shopify integration patterns; Experience with testing practices and quality assurance; Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns, including: Domain‐Driven Design (DDD); Event‐driven architecture; Development of reusable components (e.g. catalogue validators); Ability to contribute to architectural decisions, API design and technical delivery; Experience mentoring and supporting other developers; Shopify experience is mandatory.
