Akt Creative is an independent agency that works for big brands. We blend creativity, content, and technology to come up with fresh and impactful ideas, delivering effective results for our clients.
We are looking for a Freelance Social Media Manager to join our team for an exciting international sports project running from August to December , with the possibility of extending the collaboration.
What we need:
- Someone organized, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent planning and content management skills
- Strong copywriting skills in Portuguese (European Portuguese)
- Ability to adapt tone of voice across different platforms
- Experience managing social media communities and editorial calendars
- Experience covering live events and reacting to real-time moments
- Ability to analyze performance and optimize content accordingly
- 3+ years of experience managing social media for brands, agencies, sports organizations, or similar
Nice to have:
- Passion for sports, particularly motorsports
- Experience working with sports brands, competitions, teams, or live events
- Knowledge of Formula 1, MotoGP, WEC, WRC, Formula E, or similar championships
- Experience producing content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and YouTube
- Knowledge of digital paid media
- Experience with project management tools (Monday, Asana or similar)
- Fluency in English
What you'll do:
- Manage the day-to-day social media presence of an international sports project
- Plan, schedule, and publish content across multiple platforms
- Coordinate with designers, videographers, photographers, and creative teams
- Produce copy and adapt content for different audiences
- Monitor community interactions and identify engagement opportunities
- Support live coverage during key sporting moments
- Analyze performance and contribute to content improvements
