SIEM Engineer

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain SIEM and Security Data Lake components for log collection and normalization
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and escalate complex problems appropriately
• Implement and test log source integrations and configuration changes
• Develop and tune detection rules, dashboards, and reports based on requirements
• Support incident investigations by providing SIEM data and collaborating with teams

Requirements

• Master's degree with 1-2 years in Information Systems, or Bachelor's with 2-3 years, or Diploma with 3-4 years
• Proven understanding of security monitoring and detection engineering practices
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, technologies, and best practices
• Strong knowledge of security architecture frameworks and principles
• Proficiency with SIEM solutions (QRadar, Elastic, ArcSight, Sentinel) and log collection tools
• Experience with incident response, network security, and cloud-hosted infrastructure
• Python or Bash scripting and automation skills preferred
