This role will act as a Senior Functional Analyst – SAP S D within the Order to Cash (O2C) scope. The analyst will translate approved business requirements into robust SAP SD functional designs and system configurations, ensuring that O2C processes run efficiently and align with business needs.

This person performs hands‑on configuration, conducts issue and change request analysis, supports structured testing cycles, maintains documentation, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives. This role collaborates closely with SAP O2C Solution Analysts, integration teams, technical teams, and delivery partners to secure full end‑to‑end process readiness.

The Senior Functional Analyst – SAP SD will:

• Work closely with SAP O2C Solution Analysts to translate approved business requirements into SAP SD functional designs and configurations;
• Perform hands‑on SAP SD configuration and maintenance across the entire O2C scope (sales order processing, pricing, billing, output/message determination, partner determination, credit/debit processes, returns/claims as applicable);
• Support incident analysis and reviewing change requests: reproducing issues, conducting root‑cause analysis, proposing and implementing fixes (configuration changes or functional specifications);
• Support end‑to‑end process validation (including unit testing, SIT, and UAT): preparing test cases, executing tests, triaging defects, and coordinating re‑testing with delivery partners;
• Ensure integration readiness by identifying upstream/downstream impacts (interfaces, master data, billing‑to‑FI postings, reporting) and collaborating with relevant teams;
• Maintain high‑quality documentation such as configuration notes, functional specifications, test evidence, user guides, and training materials;
• Support release and deployment activities, preparing cutover inputs, and ensuring configuration transport readiness in alignment with release management;
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives: identifying standardization opportunities, reducing manual effort, and improving controls and data quality across O2C;
• Support standardization, quality improvements, and knowledge sharing within the O2C team;
• Stay updated on SAP SD best practices and emerging SAP capabilities while sharing knowledge across the O2C team.

A typical day will include performing SAP SD configuration, validating end‑to‑end business processes, analyzing incidents and root causes, preparing test cases, reviewing integration impacts, maintaining documentation, and contributing to release and deployment activities.

What you will need to succeed

As a Senior Functional Analyst – SAP SD you will need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain , or a related field;
• +3 years of experience as a SAP SD Functional Analyst/Consultant;
• Proven experience supporting testing cycles (unit, SIT and UAT), defect management, and go‑live readiness;
• Experience in Logistics or Supply Chain environments;
• Experience translating business requirements into functional configuration, functional specifications, and test scenarios;
• Ability to work effectively with outsourced delivery teams and internal stakeholders in a matrix environment;
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP SD processes within the Order to Cash (O2C) value stream and key integration points (FI billing postings, master data, interfaces);
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with technical and business audiences;
• Good planning and organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment;
• Excellent communication skills – F luency in English .
