Our client is a well-established international organization with a strong focus on operational excellence and structured procurement practices. The company is currently strengthening its sourcing capabilities through a nearshore model, promoting collaboration across global teams and functions.

You will join a dynamic sourcing team based in Lisbon, supporting both IT and non-IT procurement activities within an international environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to end-to-end sourcing processes, working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Description

• Execute end-to-end sourcing and operational procurement activities across IT and business-related services;
• Support strategic sourcing initiatives and category management actions;
• Manage RFX processes independently and support contract renewals;
• Prepare and coordinate sourcing documentation, including timelines and supplier communications;
• Evaluate supplier proposals, focusing on pricing, commercial terms, and contractual aspects;
• Lead commercial negotiations and escalate relevant risks when needed;
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, standards, and governance frameworks;
• Collaborate closely with IT, Finance, Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams;
• Maintain procurement data, supplier records, and internal sourcing tools;
• Contribute to cost optimization and value creation initiatives.

Profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a related field;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, ideally in an international environment;
• Strong knowledge of sourcing processes (RFX), contract management, and supplier handling;
• Experience across IT and/or non-IT categories such as software, cloud, or business services;
• Familiarity with procurement systems (ERP or sourcing platforms);
• Analytical mindset with strong organizational and communication skills;
• Ability to work in a cross-functional and international environment;
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
