Role Overview:
As a Java Developer you’ll have the chance to work with a talented and international team as a Backend Developer in Lisbon city or Porto city.

What you will do:

• Develop cutting edge code in a microservice architecture based on Java Spring Boot;
• Work in our talented team of engineers to develop and ship new features;
• Optimize/refactor implementation for performance and/or to reduce technical debt;
• Play a key role in the development of best practices in software design, implementation, and coding;
• Engage with your scrum team in technical design discussions, estimations, and reviews ;
• Support the CI/CD pipeline and ensure deployed software quality is maintained.

What you are like:

• University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar;
• At least 3 years of experience in practical software engineering;
• Proven technical excellence in Java and Spring Boot;
• Some experience in cloud-hosted DevOps topics (CI/CD, k8s, terraform, helm, google cloud) and/or enthusiastic to learn;
• Experience working in Scrum/Agile
• Creativity, passion, persistence, and a hands-on mentality
• Fluent in English.
