Threat & Vulnerability Management Engineer

The Threat & Vulnerability Management (TVM) Engineer is responsible for identifying, assessing, and prioritizing security vulnerabilities across the organization's infrastructure, applications, and systems. The role focuses on driving remediation efforts, improving visibility into security risks, and collaborating with IT and security teams to reduce the overall attack surface and strengthen the organization's cybersecurity posture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform vulnerability scanning and analysis across systems and applications.
• Prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk, exploitability, and business impact.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to remediate issues.
• Track remediation progress and ensure vulnerabilities are resolved within defined SLAs.
• Monitor threat intelligence and emerging vulnerabilities.
• Produce reports and metrics on vulnerability status and remediation efforts.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Vulnerability Management, Cybersecurity, or Security Engineering.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7).
• Understanding of CVSS scoring, patch management, and security best practices.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and networking fundamentals.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
