Electrical Engineer

Overview An electrical engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing and supervising the production of electrical equipment and systems. They must have a strong understanding of electrical principles and be able to apply them in various projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in the field and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities Designing and developing electrical systems and equipment according to project specifications Providing technical guidance and support to clients, colleagues and contractors Conducting tests and evaluations on prototypes to ensure functionality and safety Troubleshooting issues with existing equipment or systems Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations Collaborating with other engineers, technicians and professionals on project teams Staying updated on advancements in technology and incorporating them into designs when applicable Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical engineering Proficiency in CAD software for design purposes Familiarity with industry standards, codes and regulations Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, clients and contractors Location This position is based in Porto, Portugal. Remuneration The salary for this position is 900$ per month. Accommodation Accommodation can be provided for the selected candidate if needed.
