Senior Product Manager

The role will transition to the standalone Universal Banking business after the expected acquisition completion. Key responsibilities & deliverables Product Ownership & Strategy: Define and drive the roadmap execution, translate strategic objectives into clear product initiatives, and partner with leadership to prioritise investments. Requirements & Product Development: Lead end‐to‐end requirement analysis, collaborate with engineering squads, perform impact analysis, and decompose complex requirements into actionable user stories. Stakeholder & Customer Engagement: Liaise across product, engineering, implementation teams and customers; conduct product demos and walkthroughs. Product Quality & Delivery Excellence: Own business acceptance testing, differentiate defects from enhancements, and ensure delivery accountability during release cycles. Integration & Ecosystem Alignment: Collaborate with adjacent product domains such as Payments systems, Lending interactions, Digital banking channels, ATM/Switch integrations to ensure seamless interoperability. Documentation & Knowledge Enablement: Partner with technical writers to produce clear, comprehensive documentation for internal teams and client implementations. Adoption, Training & Enablement: Identify training needs, design and deliver product training programmes, and act as subject‐matter expert. Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor junior analysts, review requirement quality, and foster best practices in product management. Process & Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements in product management and delivery processes, enhance intake‐to‐delivery workflows, and contribute to product operations maturity. Required Experience & Skills Domain Expertise: Proven experience in core banking, business analysis, or product management with strong understanding of core banking systems, payments ecosystems, digital integrations, and ATM/Switch/Gateway integrations. Technical & Analytical Skills: Solid understanding of REST APIs, service‐based architectures, microservices fundamentals, SQL and data analysis basics, and strong analytical problem‐solving abilities. Product & Delivery Skills: Hands‐on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, SDLC processes, release management, and requirement lifecycle management. Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to influence across technical and business teams, and drive alignment. Leadership & Collaboration: Experience mentoring junior team members and driving quality outcomes across engineering, consulting, and customer teams. Education & Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus. Product‐management certifications (e.g., Pragmatic, Scrum Product Owner) are highly desirable. Preferred Attributes: Experience in product‐led organisations or platform‐based banking systems; exposure to cloud‐native core banking architectures; strong understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations; track record of driving customer‐centric enhancements and adoption.
