Your new Role

The Android & iOS Developer will act as a Senior Mobile Engineer for  Havi's  Solution Owner – Customer Platform, Mobile. You will drive the delivery of the Customer Platform’s mobile roadmap. This person will coach and guide their engineers - providing relevant and constructive input on development, testing and deployment tasks. They will also collaborate closely with Havi's customer platform operations team, ensuring smooth handover of production solutions. This person will lead the ongoing review of code, documentation, and knowledge sharing sessions with the operations team. 

The Android & iOS Developer will lead some projects for the mobile team, as capacity grows. The role will include day-to-day collaboration and design discussions with Havi's Global Supply Chain Planning and Analytics (GPA) team, as well as with their strategic software partners. A typical day will include analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of mobile features and enhancements, as well as close engagement with customers.

This person has experience developing production grade mobile solutions in Xamarin , iOS , and Android . 

What you will need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Science and Technology (or equivalent experience);

• +5 year’s of experience in Mobile development;

• Proven experience as a Mobile Engineer with a strong portfolio of apps developed for iOS and Android platforms ;

• Proficient in Swift for iOS , and Kotlin or Java for Android ;

• Strong emotional Intelligence – highly collaborative with both tech and business stakeholders;

• Experience with cross-platform frameworks, such as Flutter, React Native, or Xamarin ;

• Solid understanding of mobile development frameworks, libraries and APIs, for both iOS and Android ;

• Familiarity with mobile development tools such as Xcode, Android Studio, and version control systems like Azure DevOps or Git;
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating them into mobile apps;
• Knowledge of mobile app design principles, user interfaces, and user experience best practices;
• Experience with app store submission processes (Google Play and App Store) and dealing with app reviews and deployment;
• Preference to work in an agile development environment and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives;
• Must understand the customer’s priority, making technical recommendations to the Solution Owner accordingly;
• Strong problem-solving skills;
• Highly ambitious, career driven, humble, and customer obsessed;
• Experience working with global teams in multiple time zones;
• Excellent communication skills – Fluent in English.
