Adecco is recruiting an AI Experimentation Lab Manager. The AI Experimentation Lab Manager position supports an academic research environment focused on applied research, prototyping, and experimentation with AI models and emerging technologies. The role exists to operationalize an AI Experimentation Lab and to ensure that its technical infrastructure is properly designed, implemented, and managed. The position is responsible for building and maintaining the labs technical foundation, including AI models, APIs, cloud services, and data systems, with a particular emphasis on MLOps, cloud computing, system integration, and generative AI development tools. The Lab Manager works closely with research teams to bridge academic research and real-world technology application in sectors such as health, education, and sustainability. The individual in this role is expected to be hands-on, technically versatile, and comfortable working at the intersection of research, technology, and practical implementation.

What You Will Do?

• Build and maintain the technical infrastructure of the AI Experimentation Lab, ensuring reliable operation of AI models, APIs, cloud services, and data systems.

• Manage and operationalize MLOps, cloud computing, system integration, and generative AI development tools to support applied research and prototyping activities.

• Support the research team in AI experimentation by preparing environments, configuring tools, and enabling data and model workflows across health, education, and sustainability domains.

• Automate workflows and processes within the lab, including integration of scripts, pipelines, and services that improve efficiency and reproducibility of experiments.

• Set up, manage, and maintain multimedia recording setups and related technical systems to support documentation, analysis, and communication of research outcomes.

• Document technical architectures, configurations, and workflows in a structured manner to ensure experimental reproducibility and continuity of lab operations.

• Collaborate with academic and technical stakeholders to align infrastructure, tools, and processes with the labs mission of bridging research and real-world technology application.

Your Skills

• Academic background in Computer Science or Engineering, providing a strong foundation for managing complex technical infrastructures and systems.

• Practical experience in MLOps and DevOps, including implementing, monitoring, and maintaining pipelines and environments for AI models and related services.

• Proficiency in Python scripting and database management, enabling the development, automation, and administration of data-driven workflows and applications.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, including configuration, deployment, and maintenance of cloud services used for AI experimentation and data processing.

• Proficiency with generative AI coding tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot, supporting efficient development, prototyping, and experimentation with AI models and applications.

• Strong understanding of system integration and cloud computing concepts, ensuring seamless interaction between AI models, APIs, data systems, and external services.

• Ability to work effectively at the intersection of research, technology, and real-world application, demonstrating curiosity and technical versatility in a multidisciplinary environment.
