Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer / Electrician (Data Centre Project) Location : Lisbon, Portugal Employment Type : Full-Time We are seeking experienced Electrical Engineers and Electricians to join a major data centre construction project in Lisbon. The successful candidates will be responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Working as part of a multidisciplinary construction team, you will contribute to the successful delivery of a mission‐critical facility while maintaining compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and local regulations. Key Responsibilities and Qualifications Manage and coordinate electrical installation activities throughout the project lifecycle Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site management teams Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with programme requirements Coordinate testing and commissioning of electrical systems Ensure compliance with Portuguese regulations, IEC standards, and project specifications Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support to site teams Prepare progress reports, inspections, and quality documentation Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety on site Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, UPS, generators, transformers, and switch gear Experience with testing and commissioning processes Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Excellent communication and organisational skills Fluent English; Portuguese is advantageous Experience with BMS, fire alarm, security, or ELV systems IPAF, MEWP, or other relevant site certifications First Aid and Health & Safety training Strong attention to detail Reliable and safety-conscious Positive attitude and strong work ethic Team player with excellent problem‐solving skills If you are an experienced Electrical Engineer or Electrician looking to work on one of Europe's leading data centre developments, we would like to hear from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr
