Conversational Agent AI Platform Engineer

This is your mission

Are you passionate about Generative AI, Conversational Agents, and Cloud-native platforms ? Then this position is for you.

As a Conversational Agent AI Platform Engineer , you will be responsible for building, evolving, and operating a Conversational AI Platform (CAP) enabling secure, scalable, and industrialized AI use cases in an international environment.

You will contribute to the development of an internal RAG-based conversational platform, bundled with digital bot capabilities, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Data, AI, DevOps, Security, Product) in an Agile setup.

Build side:

• You will contribute to the evolution and industrialization of the platform:

  • Design and implement cloud-native components for a Conversational AI Platform (RAG, APIs, bot integrations).

  • Develop and maintain Python and JavaScript services supporting AI orchestration and data pipelines.

  • Implement document ingestion pipelines and data processing workflows for RAG-based use cases.

  • Design and manage APIs (contract-first approach) and API lifecycle management.

  • Contribute to event-driven and microservices-based architectures.

  • Integrate vector databases (e.g., Elasticsearch) for semantic search and retrieval.

  • Participate in CI/CD pipeline design and automation (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Argo CD).

  • Contribute to containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).

  • Ensure security-by-design principles in all developments.

Run side:

You will ensure operational excellence and platform reliability:

• Support day-to-day operations and ensure platform stability and performance.

• Monitor applications and proactively address vulnerabilities (application, dependency, security levels).

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues in distributed cloud environments.

• Contribute to AIOps practices and continuous improvement of the platform.

• Collaborate with DevOps, MLOps, Data, QA, and Security teams to ensure seamless integration.

• Maintain installation and operational documentation.

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).

• Identify and manage technical debt with the team.

• Support onboarding of new AI tools and technologies into the ecosystem.

This is your background

You have at least 5 years of experience in demanding DevOps and cloud-native environments. You enjoy working at the intersection of AI, Cloud, and Platform Engineering , and you are constantly innovating.

This is your expertise:

• Strong experience in Python and/or JavaScript

• Solid knowledge of API design and management (contract-first approach, API gateways)

• Experience with Data & AI pipelines (document ingestion, AI orchestration, event-driven architectures)

• Cloud-native technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm

• CI/CD tools: GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Argo CD

• Experience with vector databases (e.g., Elasticsearch)

• Understanding of DevSecOps practices

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies

• Good cybersecurity culture

Nice to have:

• Scripting and automation (Shell)

• Workflow orchestration (e.g., Airflow)

• Experience with microservices architecture

Language Skills:

• English: B2

• French: B2

Range: 43k to 52k Gross/year (Depending on experience)
