Job Purpose & Scope Working as part of the regional healthcare product management team, you will maximise growth and profitability potential for the medical porous webs and stretch films portfolio through the development of robust product strategies and tactical plans. This includes guiding product (value) pricing, positioning, competitive intelligence, product life‐cycle, and portfolio innovation. The successful candidate will be responsible for a growing scope of approximately €100 million with high product complexity and customer customisation. Principal Accountabilities Develop and review product portfolio strategy, including manufacturing strategy and innovation road‐maps based on segment needs and Amcor's ability to win in the desired spaces. Partner with BU Marketing, R&D and other stakeholders to manage product lifecycle, including launches, consolidation or replacement of specifications and phasing out of obsolete product lines. Monitor sales and profitability of the product line, provide inputs for budgeting and strategic planning, and drive value‐based pricing policies and profitability improvement initiatives. Manage cross‐functional teams and projects to ensure timely and effective execution of product‐related projects (e.g., new product launches, innovation pipeline, product changes). Develop IP strategy for the assigned product line, anticipating patient expirations and monitoring competitive landscape for potential threats or infringements. Engage directly with key customers, support the sales team to develop new business and build relationships in both technical and commercial aspects. Provide efficient product‐specific support, tools and training for Sales & Customer Service teams to ensure selling efficiency, including preparation of product value propositions, technical packs and value pricing guidance. Act as the first point of contact as a technical advisor to customers and the sales team, matching their needs with the most relevant available solutions or innovations. Partner and actively engage with machine manufacturers, industry associations and other external stakeholders to gather competitive intelligence and identify potential unmet needs. Major Challenges & Complexities The role requires leading and working in cross‐functional teams across cultures and locations within a highly matrixed internal environment. Influence and drive agendas without formal authority is key, both towards peers and senior stakeholders. You must ensure long‐term strategic outcomes while managing short‐term business needs, communicate technical aspects to non‐technical audiences, and possess robust project management skills. Qualifications & Requirements Formal Qualifications And Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in product management and/or technical roles within the packaging industry. Previous exposure to medical devices regulatory affairs and packaging. Proven experience leading projects and navigating matrixial organisations. Excellent project management skills, with proven experience. Master's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences or related fields. Good understanding of economic and marketing principles, particularly related to medical packaging. Previous exposure to thermoformed trays as product manager or in a technical role with customer exposure is a strong plus. Specific Skills And Abilities: Effective communicator with excellent verbal, written and presentational skills. Structured problem solver, able to bring stakeholders along the process. Goal‐oriented, able to prioritise, systematically develop and execute actionable plans. Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
