We’re looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong technical skills, experience in the banking sector , and professional fluency in French and English .

Your Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology , or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Java development
• Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming
• Professional experience with Spring and Spring Boot
• Experience with Hibernate / JPA
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and backend services
• Good understanding of API design, integration and security principles
• Strong experience with relational databases , particularly PostgreSQL, Oracle or MySQL
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Experience with unit and integration testing , using tools such as JUnit and Mockito
• Good knowledge of Git and version control practices
• Experience with Maven or Gradle
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices
• Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns and clean code
• Experience troubleshooting and optimizing backend applications
• Previous professional experience in the banking or financial services sector
• Understanding of financial products, banking processes and regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in Agile development teams
• Fluency in French and English – mandatory

Nice to Have:

• Experience with microservices architectures
• Knowledge of SOAP web services
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar messaging technologies
• Knowledge of Redis or other caching technologies
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases
• Experience with payments, lending, cards, risk or other banking domains
• Knowledge of financial security and compliance standards
