Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Contract Teacher to join our team in Almada. As a teacher you will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and maintaining a positive learning environment. This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$ per month. Responsibilities Create engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Deliver lessons effectively to students of varying ages and abilities. Assess student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and other relevant information. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about their child's progress. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve teaching techniques. Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred. Previous teaching experience is not required but some experience working with children is preferred. Passion for education and helping students reach their full potential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to different teaching methods and styles as needed. Fluent in English; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus. Must be legally authorized to work in Almada without sponsorship.
