As a Senior Cybersecurity Expert, you will play a key role in defining and driving the organization's cybersecurity strategy, ensuring the protection of critical systems, data, and digital services against an evolving threat landscape.
- Cybersecurity Strategy & Governance: Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, frameworks, standards, and strategic security initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Risk & Compliance Management: Lead cybersecurity risk assessments, security maturity evaluations, and compliance programs related to ISO 27001, GDPR, NIS2, and other regulatory requirements.
- Security Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to leadership teams, translating technical security risks into business-relevant recommendations and mitigation strategies.
- Threat Detection & Incident Response: Oversee threat intelligence, security monitoring, incident detection, investigation, and response activities leveraging technologies such as SIEM, SOAR, and EDR platforms.
- Security Architecture: Design, review, and validate secure architectures across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments, ensuring security-by-design principles are followed.
- Application Security: Drive secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices and promote application security best practices across technology teams.
- Vulnerability Management: Lead vulnerability management initiatives, penetration testing programs, and Red Team / Blue Team exercises to continuously improve the organization's security posture.
- Fraud Prevention & Intelligence: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate fraud intelligence into broader cybersecurity and risk management initiatives.
- Leadership & Mentoring: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cybersecurity professionals, fostering a strong security culture throughout the organization.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of emerging cyber threats, industry trends, and new technologies to continuously enhance security capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
- 7–10+ years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or leadership position
- Strong experience in cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance programs
- Deep expertise in network security, cloud security (Azure and/or AWS), endpoint protection, and threat detection
- Strong knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust principles
- Experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, threat intelligence, and incident response platforms
- Solid understanding of secure architecture principles, cryptography, and threat modeling
- Experience managing security incidents and coordinating complex remediation activities
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at executive level
- Experience working with external cybersecurity vendors and partners
- Strategic mindset combined with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
