The Role We're looking for a highly organized, strategic operator to work directly with Ruca's Founder & CEO. This isn't a traditional project management role. You'll act as a strategic partner helping move priorities across the entire Ruca ecosystem—from client services and internal operations to venture building, product development, partnerships, and long-term initiatives. One day, you may be helping shape an operating plan for Ruca. Next, you're coordinating priorities with Yorba, our venture-backed technology company, or helping move initiatives forward with Atlético CP, where Ruca serves as the club's strategic design partner. Your job is simple: keep important things moving. You'll create clarity from complexity, connect people across teams, remove blockers, and ensure the highest-priority work gets done. This role has historically served as a launchpad for future leaders at Ruca, with previous team members advancing into studio leadership, operations, marketing, and executive roles. What You'll Do Partner directly with the CEO on company priorities and strategic initiatives Coordinate projects across Ruca, Yorba, Atlético CP, and future ventures Drive planning, execution, and follow-through across multiple teams Build operating rhythms, meeting cadences, documentation, and accountability Keep leadership informed through clear communication and project visibility Identify risks, unblock teams, and help solve problems before they become issues Improve internal systems, processes, and workflows Help prioritize what matters most across a fast-moving organization Use AI and automation to make yourself—and the companies you support—more effective What We're Looking For 3–8+ years of experience in program management, project management, operations, consulting, startup leadership, agency operations, or similar roles Excellent organizational and communication skills Comfortable working across strategy and execution Able to manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail Curious, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity Strong written communication and executive-level professionalism Experience working with founders, executives, startups, or agencies is a strong plus Comfortable using modern AI tools and productivity platforms What Makes This Role Different You'll have visibility into nearly every part of Ruca.
