Concierge

Overview We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Concierge to join our team in Porto. As a Concierge you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assistance to guests staying at our establishment. Your main duty will be to ensure that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay by offering recommendations for local activities, making reservations and addressing any requests or concerns they may have. Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival and assist with the check-in process Provide information about the hotel's amenities, services, and local attractions Make recommendations for activities, restaurants, and events based on guests' preferences Handle reservation requests for dining, transportation, shows, and other activities Assist with luggage handling and delivery to guest rooms Respond promptly to guest inquiries or complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner Maintain a clean and organized lobby area Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction Keep up-to-date with current events, attractions, and special offers in the area Requirements Previous experience as a Concierge or in a customer service role preferred Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus Knowledge of the local area and popular tourist destinations Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to finding solutions Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Professional appearance with a friendly demeanor High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred Salary $1,700 per month, negotiable based on experience.
