We are seeking an exceptional Marketing & Communications Director (M/F) to shape the hotel's market presence, strengthen its reputation across key international markets and further elevate its position as one of Lisbon's most desirable luxury hospitality experiences. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence one of the city's most iconic hotels through strategic storytelling, impactful partnerships, innovative marketing initiatives and world‐class brand leadership. What will be your mission? As Marketing & Communications Director (M/F) , you will lead the hotel's integrated Marketing, Communications and Public Relations strategy, ensuring Tivoli Avenida Liberdade Lisboa Hotel, continues to strengthen its position as one of Lisbon's leading luxury hospitality destinations. You will act as the hotel's brand guardian, driving visibility, reputation and engagement across local and international markets while supporting commercial objectives and revenue growth through impactful marketing initiatives, strategic partnerships and compelling storytelling. What will you do? Lead the development and execution of the hotel's integrated Marketing, Communications and PR strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, brand priorities and commercial goals. Strengthen the positioning and visibility of Tivoli Avenida Liberdade Lisboa across Portugal and key international source markets. Drive awareness, engagement and revenue opportunities through integrated marketing initiatives, partnerships, events and activations. Support commercial performance across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, MICE and other revenue‐generating areas through strategic marketing initiatives. Lead all Public Relations activities, building meaningful relationships with media, influencers, content creators and key industry stakeholders nationally and internationally. Strengthen the hotel's reputation through earned media opportunities, strategic storytelling and proactive communications. Champion the Tivoli brand, ensuring consistency across all guest‐facing touchpoints, communications and experiences. Develop compelling content and storytelling strategies that showcase the hotel, its heritage, experiences and destination connections. Oversee digital marketing and social media initiatives, ensuring a strong and relevant presence across all channels while monitoring performance and identifying opportunities for optimization. Build strategic partnerships with luxury brands, cultural institutions, tourism organisations and premium lifestyle partners that reinforce the hotel's positioning within Lisbon's luxury landscape. Identify and develop unique guest experiences that strengthen the property's connection to the destination and further differentiate the hotel within the luxury hospitality market. Manage the Marketing, PR and Communications budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and alignment with business priorities. Collaborate closely with Commercial, Revenue, Operations and Regional teams to deliver integrated business results and consistent brand execution. Lead and inspire agency partners, suppliers, and supporting resources to deliver impactful and measurable outcomes. What are we looking for? More than 10 years of experience in Marketing, Communications and Public Relations, ideally within luxury hospitality, luxury travel, premium lifestyle brands or luxury communications agencies. Proven experience developing and executing integrated Marketing, Communications and PR strategies that drive visibility, reputation and business performance. Strong understanding of luxury brand positioning, guest expectations and premium customer journeys. Solid knowledge of the Portuguese market and a strong understanding of local consumer trends and lifestyle dynamics. Established network of media contacts, journalists, influencers, content creators and industry partners. Excellent storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to transform experiences and brand values into engaging narratives. A strong commercial mindset, with the ability to connect marketing initiatives to business objectives, brand visibility and revenue opportunities. Solid digital marketing expertise, including social media, content strategy, campaign planning, performance measurement and online reputation management. Excellent stakeholder management, collaboration and project management skills. Passion for hospitality, service excellence, creativity and attention to detail. Fluency in English and Portuguese. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field. Knowledge of Lisbon's luxury, cultural, culinary and lifestyle scene would be a strong advantage.
