The project

We are seeking a SAP ABAP Consultant to work on a project for an Energy Company.

You will have the following responsibilities:

• ABAP Development : Develop, test, and maintain SAP ABAP programs across modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, or HR;

• Custom Solutions : Build custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflow solutions;

• Technical Design : Work closely with functional consultants to translate business requirements into robust technical specifications;

• Performance Optimization : Review and optimize existing ABAP code for efficiency, scalability, and best practices;

• Systems Integration : Support integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems (IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, OData services);

• Issue Resolution : Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in both development and production environments;

• Project Participation : Contribute to end-to-end project lifecycles and continuous system improvements.

You need to have the following skills/experience:

• Hands-On Experience : 3+ years of SAP ABAP development;

• ABAP Expertise : Strong skills in both classic ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP;

• S/4HANA Development : Experience with ABAP CDS Views, RAP, or S/4HANA development;

• Enhancements & Frameworks : Solid understanding of SAP enhancement framework, BADIs, and user exits;

• Technical Troubleshooting : Proficient with debugging tools and performance tuning techniques;

• Collaboration & Communication : Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly.

Location

Lisbon, Braga or Coimbra (Hybrid - 1 day per week in the office).
