Your New Company
International banking institution, part of a leading global financial group, is strengthening its Finance team in Lisbon. Operating in a dynamic and highly analytical environment, the bank has strong interaction between Finance, Treasury and Market Risk across multiple geographies and financial markets.
Your New RoleAs a Senior FP&A & Market Risk Analyst, you will play a key role supporting strategic decision-making, combining financial planning responsibilities with close interaction with Treasury and Market Risk.
You will be responsible for:Preparing and delivering weekly and monthly financial reports across business lines Supporting budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes
Performing financial analysis, including KPIs, ROI and scenario modelling Monitoring financial performance, P&L and balance sheet evolution
Working closely with Treasury and Market Risk teams, including daily result analysis
Supporting reporting to senior stakeholders, including Executive Committee
Contributing to the automation and continuous improvement of financial processes
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in FP&A, Financial Control, or Market Risk within banking or financial services
- Strong analytical skills and solid understanding of financial instruments (e.g. derivatives, fixed income, FX)
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
- Background in Market Risk or exposure to Treasury/front office environments will be highly valued
- Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of SQL or BI tools is a plus
- Fluent English
- A background combining Big4 and investment banking or market risk environments will be particularly valued.
