Digital Tax & Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Digital Tax & Finance Manager to join our Tax Intelligence Hub and support the design, implementation, and optimization of finance and tax processes enabled by SAP technologies. This role combines expertise in SAP Finance (FI/CO), finance transformation, tax technology, and process design to help organizations build scalable, compliant, and digitally enabled operating models.

As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with tax, finance, and technology teams to design future-state processes, implement SAP solutions, and ensure finance and tax requirements are embedded within end-to-end business processes. You will contribute to large-scale SAP transformation programs, finance modernization initiatives, and tax digitalization projects across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Design & Solution Architecture: Design and optimize end-to-end SAP Finance and Controlling processes aligned with business, finance, and tax requirements. Translate financial, operational, and regulatory requirements into scalable SAP solution designs. Define target operating models, process flows, and functional architecture for finance and tax transformation initiatives. Advise stakeholders on SAP Finance best practices, simplification opportunities, and process standardization. Support the development of digital finance and tax operating models that enhance efficiency, compliance, and reporting capabilities.
• SAP Finance & Controlling Implementation: Lead and support SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations, rollouts, and transformation programs. Configure and optimize SAP FI modules. Configure and support SAP CO modules; Ensure effective integration between Finance and other SAP modules. Support finance process redesign initiatives and finance systems optimization projects.
• Tax Technology & Compliance Enablement: Ensure finance processes and SAP configurations support tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements. Contribute to the design and implementation of tax-aware finance processes. Collaborate with tax specialists to ensure technology solutions align with local and international tax obligations. Support digital tax transformation initiatives leveraging finance data and SAP ecosystems.
• Intercompany & Operating Model Support: Support the design and implementation of intercompany finance processes. Assist in aligning finance processes across multiple legal entities, company codes, and geographic locations. Support financial reporting structures and operating model design requirements for multinational organizations.
• Testing, Validation & Deployment: Define and coordinate testing activities. Validate implemented solutions against business and functional requirements. Support cutover planning and go-live activities. Prepare and maintain functional specifications, process documentation, configuration documentation, and solution design deliverables. Ensure quality assurance and adherence to project governance standards.
• Consulting & Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted advisor to clients and project stakeholders across finance, tax, and technology domains. Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and design reviews. Collaborate with global and nearshore teams to deliver high-quality transformation solutions. Support business development activities, proposal development, and client presentations. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Tax Intelligence Hub Contribution: Contribute to the development of innovative digital tax and finance solutions within the Tax Intelligence Hub. Support the creation of reusable methodologies, accelerators, and SAP Finance design assets. Drive knowledge sharing and capability building across the team. Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the growth of the Finance Transformation and Tax Technology practice.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP Finance implementations or finance transformation projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP FI and SAP CO configuration.
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Solid understanding of finance processes, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
• Understanding of tax-relevant finance processes and indirect tax requirements.
• Experience working in cross-functional project environments involving business, finance, tax, and IT teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in finance transformation, tax technology, or digital transformation programs.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance migrations and redesign initiatives.
• Understanding of multinational finance operating models and intercompany processes.
• SAP certification in FI and/or CO.
• Experience working in consulting environments and international project teams.
• Familiarity with tax reporting, compliance technologies, or statutory reporting solutions.
