Splunk Consultant

We are looking for a Splunk ITSM Engineer to join a dynamic international team supporting critical IT operations within a large-scale financial services environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of the Splunk platform, ensuring effective monitoring, event management, observability, and integration with IT Service Management processes. This role will contribute to the stability, availability, and performance of business‐critical applications and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Administer, maintain, and enhance the Splunk platform. Design, develop, and optimize dashboards, alerts, reports, and searches. Integrate Splunk with monitoring and ITSM tools. Implement and maintain monitoring use cases for applications, infrastructure, and services. Analyze logs, events, and metrics to identify incidents, trends, and root causes. Support incident, problem, and change management processes. Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and development teams to troubleshoot complex issues. Ensure platform performance, scalability, security, and availability. Contribute to observability strategies and operational excellence initiatives. Produce and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures. Participate in continuous improvement and automation initiatives. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 3 years of hands‐on experience with Splunk administration and support. Strong knowledge of: Splunk Enterprise SPL (Search Processing Language) Dashboards and Reporting Alert Management Index and Data Management Data Onboarding and Parsing Experience working with Linux and Windows environments. Solid understanding of ITSM and ITIL frameworks. Experience in log analysis, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Scripting knowledge (Python, Shell, or PowerShell). Strong communication skills in English. Nice to Have Splunk certifications (Power User, Administrator, Architect, or equivalent). Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms. Knowledge of Observability, AIOps, and Monitoring solutions. Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
