Role: AI-First AWS Cloud Engineer

Location: Remote Portugal

Requirements:

• +5 years of experience in similar DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, particularly EKS/ECS, VPC, RDS, IAM, SCPs, and SSO.
• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Solid Kubernetes and Linux experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Proven experience using AI tools as part of day-to-day engineering work, particularly for infrastructure automation, pipeline review, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving.
• Hands-on experience with Claude and Claude Code is required.
• Experience with Kiro is highly valued.
• Ability to design, execute, and critically evaluate agentic AI workflows in real engineering environments.
• Ability to explain AI agent decisions, assess their output, and identify when human intervention or overrides are required.
• Comfortable working directly with clients and communicating effectively in English.
