Job Opportunity: Banking Customer Operations Expert
This is a great career opportunity for people looking to work in a high-level banking and financial services project. We are looking for local candidates in Lisbon to join a team focused on trust, great service, and safety, while supporting one of Portugal's biggest banks.
Role Overview
As a Customer Operations Expert, you will be the main contact for the bank's customers. Your job is to build a safe and trusting relationship with a wide range of clients while helping them manage their daily banking needs.
- Customer Help: Answer tricky banking questions and give detailed info about our products and services.
- Daily Operations: Process customer requests and carefully follow up on their banking transactions.
- Following Rules: Make sure every conversation strictly follows internal rules and financial laws.
- Building Relationships: Keep customers happy and loyal by handling their calls and messages quickly and efficiently.
Who We Are Looking For
We want professionals who have both the technical skills and the friendly personality needed for this job, along with the right certificate.
- Required Certification: You must have a PDEADS Certificate.
- Education: At least a high school diploma (12th grade), though some college or a completed university degree is a big plus.
- Language Skills: You must speak native or near-native Portuguese, plus good English (at least B2 level).
- Work Experience: You need prior experience working in a call center (making or taking calls). Experience working in banking is preferred.
- Tech Skills: A basic understanding of banking terms and everyday office computer programs.
- Key Skills: Great speaking and writing skills, the ability to understand complex issues easily, and the talent to work well under pressure.
Training and Growth
Your success starts with a strong foundation to get your career moving in the right direction.
- Timeframe: A 23-day deep-dive training program, running Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- What You Learn: The training covers our special software, product details, and how to help customers over the phone, email, and chat.
- Hands-on Learning: You will practice your new skills in a supervised work setting and learn to handle tasks on your own.

- Contract: Starts with a 12-month fixed contract (which can be extended to 24 months), with a clear path to a permanent job after two years.
