Information Security Analyst - Cybersecurity Projects

As a Junior Information Security Analyst , you will be working for our client, a leading organization focusing on advancing cybersecurity measures and safeguarding digital assets. You will contribute to impactful projects aimed at strengthening security frameworks and ensuring compliance across diverse environments. This is a prime opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic and evolving industry.
Your main responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and management of information security projects, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Assist in conducting risk analyses and vulnerability assessments to identify security gaps.
- Contribute to certification processes such as ISO 27001 and other cybersecurity standards.
- Help monitor compliance with data protection laws and relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with teams to develop and maintain security policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on trends and regulatory changes in cybersecurity and data protection.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 1 year of experience in information security or cybersecurity projects.
- Education in cybersecurity or information security.
- Solid understanding of ISO 27001, cybersecurity maturity models, or similar certification processes.
- Experience with risk analysis methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of data protection legislation and information security regulations.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Certification in ISO 27001 or related cybersecurity certifications.
- Experience working in medium or large organizations.
Language required for the role:
- Proficiency in Portuguese (fluent).
Eligibility to work on this role:
- Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered for this role.
