We're Hiring: End-to-End Platform Architect

We're looking for an End-to-End Platform Architect to lead the definition, governance, and evolution of a next-generation enterprise platform. If you're passionate about designing scalable architectures, driving technical strategy, and solving complex engineering challenges, this is the opportunity for you.

You'll play a key role in shaping a multi-tenant platform built on Angular micro-frontends and Java/Spring Boot microservices , helping define the technology roadmap for the coming years while driving innovation across Cloud Native, DevOps, and AI-powered solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the architecture of a scalable, secure, and highly available enterprise platform.
• Establish architectural standards and best practices for micro-frontends, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Design and govern API Gateway, Service Mesh, authentication, and system integration strategies.
• Lead platform modernization initiatives and legacy system migrations.
• Drive technical governance, ensuring consistency, quality, and long-term sustainability across the platform.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and UX teams to deliver innovative, business-driven solutions.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, including Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and intelligent automation.
• Mentor engineering teams and foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Technical Knowledge

• Proven experience as a Software Architect , Solution Architect , or Platform Architect in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong experience designing End-to-End and multi-tenant platform architectures.
• Solid expertise with:
• Angular and micro-frontend architectures.
• Java and Spring Boot .
• API Gateways , Service Mesh , OAuth2 , and Single Sign-On (SSO) .
• Relational database design and SQL .
• Experience with Cloud Native architectures and microservices ecosystems.
• Strong knowledge of Docker , Kubernetes , Helm , Git , CI/CD , Infrastructure as Code (IaC) , and ArgoCD .
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana .
• Good understanding of security best practices, including OWASP , GDPR , and PCI-DSS .

Nice to Have

• Experience building enterprise platforms from the ground up.
• Experience modernizing or migrating legacy systems or low-code platforms (e.G., Mendix or ERP solutions).
• Knowledge of Generative AI , LLMs , and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Experience in highly regulated industries such as banking, financial services, or payments.

Additional Information

• Hybrid working model (minimum of 2 days per week in the office).
• Occasional travel to Geneva and Luxembourg may be required.
• A valid work authorization for Portugal is mandatory.
