Information Security Analyst

As an Information Security Analyst you will be responsible for protecting the company's systems and data from potential cyber threats. Your role will involve identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and monitoring for any suspicious activity. You will work closely with IT teams to ensure that all systems are secure and compliant with industry standards. Responsibilities Conduct regular security assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities. Implement and maintain security protocols and procedures. Monitor network activity for any signs of intrusion or unauthorized access. Investigate security breaches and provide recommendations for resolution. Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies. Coordinate with IT teams to ensure that all systems are secure and compliant with industry standards. Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans in case of a security breach. Requirements University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role. Strong knowledge of network and system security protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, SSL). Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux) and databases (SQL Server, Oracle). Experience with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Nessus) and intrusion detection systems (IDS). Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 27001, 27002, or NIST Cybersecurity Framework. Excellent problem‐solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to communicate complex technical information to non‐technical stakeholders.
