Our client is looking for an Infrastructure and Systems Support Specialist to join a globally recognised team within a leading company in the pharmaceutical industry.

Description

• Provide high-quality on-site technology support for Lisbon GCC colleagues, senior leaders, executive visitors and meeting participants, ensuring a professional and timely support experience;
• Support the stand-up of the Lisbon GCC by helping establish local D&T ways of working, face-to-face support routines, onboarding support and visible technology presence for new colleagues;
• Act as the local D&T point of contact for executive technology needs, including device, collaboration, meeting room, network, printing and workplace technology support;
• Coordinate incidents, service requests and escalations with global service desk, workplace, endpoint, infrastructure, cyber security, network and vendor teams to restore service and reduce colleague disruption;
• Support new starter, mover and leaver technology processes for the GCC, helping ensure devices, accounts, access, peripherals and collaboration tools are ready when required;
• Maintain high standards of meeting room and collaboration technology readiness, supporting key GCC events, leadership visits, town halls and hybrid meetings;
• Promote adoption of standard D&T services, tools and support channels, helping colleagues use approved systems, self-service options and Microsoft 365 capabilities effectively;
• Identify recurring issues, local service gaps and improvement opportunities, feeding insight into global service operations and contributing to continuous improvement of the GCC technology experience.

Profile

• Secondary education or equivalent practical experience in an IT support, workplace technology, service desk, end-user computing or technical support environment;
• ITIL Foundation, Microsoft 365, endpoint support or equivalent technical certification desirable but not essential;
• Working knowledge of end-user computing, Microsoft 365, Windows devices, mobile devices, meeting room technology, collaboration tools, printing, networking basics and standard IT support processes;
• Understanding of incident, request, escalation and asset management disciplines;
• Awareness of cyber security, data protection and appropriate handling of business information in a corporate environment;
• Strong customer service mindset with the ability to support senior stakeholders calmly and professionally;
• Able to diagnose and resolve common workplace technology issues, manage priorities, communicate clearly, document actions accurately and escalate effectively;
• Comfortable providing face-to-face support in a busy office environment and working collaboratively with remote global resolver teams;
• Fluency in English is required; Portuguese language capability is highly desirable for the Lisbon office context.
