Junior Data Engineer

We are now looking for a Junior Data Engineer willing to accept new challenges in our Closer team. Are you the one? Education: Degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience: 1–2 years in Data Engineering, BI, or similar roles (relevant internships included). Technical Toolkit: Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks or Azure Data Factory . Proficiency in PySpark and SQL/Python . Familiarity with Power BI . Foundational Knowledge: Understanding of Parquet/Delta Lake formats and modern data workflows. Mindset: A problem-solver with an interest in Agile , DevOps , and DataOps methodologies. What You Will Do Build & Maintain: Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks . Transform Data: Use PySpark to process and transform data within Data Lake / Lakehouse architectures. Collaborate: Work closely with the team to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Ensure Quality: Guarantee data consistency, reliability, and performance across all pipelines. Document & Learn: Maintain clear documentation of your processes and continuously evolve your skills through hands-on mentorship.
